Policewoman injured in hit and run

Police are hunting a suspected fraudster who ran over a female officer as she tried to arrest him today.

Detective Constable Catherine Corbett, 39, is in a critical condition at a north London hospital after the incident at a hotel near Heathrow Airport.

She was with a team of colleagues from West Midlands Police when she was hit as the suspect escaped in a Peugeot car.
